AOL Adopts the hNews Microformat

AOL recently launched a project to come up with a unified format for marking up article content with the goal being to help streamline development time and increase the interoperability of products across the AOL networks. AOL is the first large media outlet to support it with news.aol.com.

Having standardized markup structure and ID / class names, or a standard article HTML template, allows us to stop reinventing the wheel every time a new site wants to publish an article. Read more about this new microformat...
