AIM Plugins
What is a plugin?
A plugin is a piece of code that adds features and functionality into the AIM client. It can add functionality directly in the Client menus and Buddylist, or it can appear as a Module at the base of the Buddylist that can run directly in the Module space or be undocked from the client to run in a separate window.
For example, a Buddylist Plugin could be developed that displays AIM Fight scores for an entire Buddy List feature. Or you could link "away messages" to your favorite music program. A Module Plugin could be developed. A Module plugin could display a stock ticker in the Module space, or allow you to load and play games either in the Module space or undocked in a larger window.
