AIM Plugins

What is a plugin?

A plugin is a piece of code that adds features and functionality into the AIM client. For example, a plugin could be developed that displays AIM Fight scores for an entire Buddy List feature. Or, you could link "away messages" to your favorite music program.

We invite you to use the AIM SDK to build creative and helpful new Plugins for the AIM service.

Why should I be impressed?

The sky is the limit – we plan to combine the ingenuity of the developer community with our extensive leading network. We'll be continually rolling out new features to improve and enhance our developer services. Stay tuned.
