Unable to Delete Buddy Group

Months ago I installed a plugin that added a "Near Me" Buddy group, I have since uninstalled it and have tried deleting the buddy group, but to no avail it will not delete. No errors, nothing. You try to delete and it will reappear instantly, sometimes you delete it and it reappears after 3 seconds. Have uninstalled and reinstalled aim and have done everything to get the buddy group to delete. Any help of getting this off my buddy list would be greatly appreciated!

What is the name of the plugin that created this group? What is your
ScreenName where you are seeing this behavior?

I believe it was an application Skyhook came out with sometime last year. I'm not sure its been months since its been installed. The screen name being used is: HyperFury

Any fix to get rid of this?

"Near Me" is Smart Group for the location plugin
(http://gallery.aim.com/detail/38). It can be removed by going to
http://buddyinfo.aim.com/sg/ and being logged in as HyperFury and
deactivating it.

I have this buddy group on my buddlist named: Bebo friends..i no longer have a bebo anymore. so aim isn't really helpin me delete this group off at all =[..Need some assistance a.s.a.p!!

What AIM client are you using? How are you deleting the group? You should
be able to select and delete this group.

Hi, I'm haveing a simuler problem wiht this group thing. I'm trying to remvoe a group that was opened by one of my ex friends. and nwo I go to remove me and delete the group off of my buddylist and it opens up a website and it can't find where it is going. I just want this group removed. and it is on this SN I am sending this note in.

I have a similar issue. A friend created a group for themselves and I cannot delete. It reappears! And their name is in [ ]'s. How do I get rid of this?

I re-installed AOL 9 from a disc and it installed without adding the Bebo Friends Group on my bubby list that i was previously unable to delete.

Will we ever be able to delete the Bebo Buddy group? When that group is included on my Buddy List, it causes my AOL to freeze up. My Buddy List vibrates as though it's having a seizure. I deleted the group last night, and had no issues, but when I logged back on this morning, the list was back. Please help.

Omg thank you sooo much. Someone had invited me to an aim blast group (although I didn't know that until now, I thought they sent me a virus) months ago, and they have been stuck on my buddy list forever. I begged them to delete me or block me, but they pretty much tried to threaten/blackmail me first, so I just blocked them. Well I used that blast link and deleted myself from their group and they are gone! I am dancing right now! Thank you.

I've never used bebo before, but the "Bebo Friends" group randomly appeared on my buddy list and it won't delete.

i got on blast list too and thank goodness i got rid of them. there ims were constant and my buddy list from aol said i could not delete
