AIM 7.0 User Interface

I wanted to ask whether AIM 7.0 still will still support the new UI technology (Boxely). Looking at the AIM 7.0 Beta resources, it looks like all box files that were supported in AIm 6.0 resources are now gone. So I'm not sure whether AIM 7.0 will still work with Boxely, and this may affect custom client UI or plugins developing considerations

AIM7 does support Boxely, but the deployment of the Boxely support files
and the Boxely Toolkit has been put into an archive file. This should not
affect custom client deployment. Plugins are currently not supported in AIM7.

Do you mean the AOLOCP directory? if not what is the archive file? is the file in use during runtime? I was looking for a runtime box files to learn about the new UI but I couldn't find anything.

Also will AOL7 support plugin at some point?

There are no current plans to support plugins in AIM7. The boxely files are
encrypted and archived, I will get back to you on whether we support
viewing them.

We do not plan to release the Boxely source code for AIM7 at this point.
