Aim 7 , is this the end for plugins

Having read http://dev.aol.com/forum?c=showthread&ThreadID=1262 and seeing Gus's twitter remark does this mean that when users upgrade their version of Aim our plugins will no longer be functional. A colleague on my project installed version 7.0 ( now default download ) and no sign of plugins in the menus.

AIM 7.0 does not support plugins.

will it in the future?

i downloaded the new AIM 7.0 and am unhappy ...lost my plugins ESPECIALLY my mail I liked that feature ...we should be given a choice..and I cant go back it sucks colors are hideous we she have an option....
