aol freezing

Since I bought a new dell with vista. when I start to use AOL after a little while it freezes in the sense that the little circle goes round and round and AOL will not respond. I have to Ctrl,alt,delete .It says it is still running . Yet if Im in aol and it does this I can not even close aol without using ctrl,alt,delete and end session. Any suggestions. This is happening all the time . So I read eight emails and then have to end session and start over. Any help would be great . Thanks, Shelley

Um, just out of curiousity, how did you end up leaving your comment here of all places? We can't help on user matters here, it's a developers' forum. Please try http://help.aol.com
If the problem is happening at other times than reading mail (e.g. visiting sites) it's probably a connectivity issue.
