Windows Security

zagolenya,

Watch the status your login screen. If the error during the "mapping" phase and not the "checking credentials" phase; maybe you are running into a Window's security issues. Are you using a computer that you use on multiple networks, like a work laptop that you use from home?

Window's computers have a primary network, and the client needs access to this. For example, if you have a work computer then your work network is probably the primary network. Then if you take the laptop home and install the client; then it was bound to your home network. When it tries to run, your security policy is blocking it from accessing the component that is part of your work network.

The easiest way to work around that is to install the client while on your primary network. So, in the example, that would mean install the client while at work.

If this isn't the case, or doesn't help; please email in your client logs.

Thanks for taking the time to post. I am sorry for the trouble.

You may have a corrupt installation

ymatok,

thanks for taking time to post. Your Desktop Client installation might be corrupt or improperly installed.

Please try uninstalling and reinstalling.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I hope that helps ;-)

Thank you!

connect

I did the uninstall and reinstall steps and its still the same. It can not connect. It says that my username and/or password is wrong. Yet, I can log into my xdrive account no problem via the web. What is wrong? Thanks!
