unable to open stored files on Xdrive

I'm writing on behalf of a friend who is an Xdrive User.

He can get into his Xdrive account and see his file names but when he tries to download them, the file opens up but there is nothing there. He can see the file names in Excel or Word but the files are empty.

When he downloaded the file, it downloaded very fast (1 sec) but the file size became zero (0) byte.

I hope that you could shed some light on his case.

Thank you.

0 Byte Condition

Hello Everyone,

A great place to start for detailed information is the Xdrive Online Help System. Also you can get a pdf file of the Xdrive User Guide.

0 Byte Condition

Hello Everyone,

If you have a 0 Byte Condition it's an indication that the 'Upload' failed. Look at the file as it is on your PC (file type and size) if not 0 Bytes then you can see how it's different then the one that's 0 Bytes on the Xdrive servers.

So you can delete the 0 Bytes file on the Xdrive servers and then 'Upload' those files again and paying close attention to confirm that the file looks good after it's been uploaded to your Xdrive account (file type and size).

0 Byte Condition

Hi XDMOlson,

A few days ago I have been using xdrive to store my files (excel and word). It has been working perfectly. and today, I was trying to upload a 34kb excel file and i kept on receiving this error message "Error Code: 3302". I'm not sure what steps I did wrong but I've done what I've always done when uploading. but now I could not upload anything.

please help!

i think there are also alot of users experiencing the same problem today.

we are hoping for your immediate response.

0 Byte Condition

hi XDMOlson!

Thanks for taking time to response to my post.

Basically, his files were uploaded a long time ago (2004) and the files' size are showing as correct on his Xdrive account, however when he tried to download those, that's the time that it wouldn't download the correct file size (became 0 byte); he also received the ERROR CODE 2210.

thanks. hope to hear from you soon.
