Bio

My name is Kirk Allen Evans, I am an Architect Evangelist for Microsoft. I was the primary author for the book "XML And ASP.NET" and have contributed to many articles, books, and papers on XML, web services, and web technologies. I frequently speak at industry conferences around the nation on topics such as web services, SOA, and new technologies from Microsoft.

Prior to joining Microsoft, I worked as a consultant for various consulting firms. I was awarded the Microsoft MVP award, ASPInsiders award, and was a founder of the XMLInsiders.
