General Overview
Xdrive's Data Service Platform (XDSP) is not just storage. Our JSON v1.2 API (aka Xdrive JSON interface) allows developers to access the storage, services, and functions of the XDSP programatically via a set of web services.
Unlike other services, resources are allocated to the user, not the developer or application. Each user can have 5GB of free storage.
Users can "mount" other online storage services to expand their online file system.
Features
The XDSP API allows developers to leverage enterprise level storage and services including:
» User allocated storage
» Full file system with full CRUD and I/O
» Sharing and Access Control to assets
» Email and publishing assets
» Generation of thumbnails and other media metadata
» Expansion by "connecting" to additional services
